The book, “The Mixed-Up Chameleon”, written by Eric Carle, is a kind of children literature. It is illustrated colorful, and children and adult would like it at first sight. The story is about a chameleon which can change its color with environment. One day, it visited a zoo, where all kinds of animals are there. Than it wished it could be big like Pole bear, smart like a fox, or handsome, funny like other animals. Finally, its colors were mixed up, and it got tired. It wanted to be itself again. And it enjoyed its life a before.
I love the last section of the story. A chameleon can change its color to whatever nit wants, but it finally known that it is useless to be like others. I love its smile in the end of the story.
People always think others’ talents are better than theirs, also good appearances and wealth, etc. but why don’t we think more about ourselves? We must be confident and optimistic on ourselves. Life could be miserable if we always jealous of other people. And we can lead our life happy, because we are the masters of ourselves.
